The Alabama and Georgia Society for Recovery began when Eddie Adams and Nicole Choe started meeting in Columbus, Georgia. Nicole is from Auburn, Alabama, and Eddie is from Columbus, Georgia. They started talking about groups and meetings they had both come to love, and they wished that there was a way to merge the two. One night when Eddie was in Auburn, he attended a meeting with Nicole’s Auburn group and met a number of people from that group. They decided to join together to form the Alabama and Georgia Society for Recovery.
Our mission is to provide a safe space for anyone who is seeking to start their recovery journey while also providing members who are committed to long-term recovery with a group of supportive individuals that can meet for social events. We have been meeting for a little over a year, and we are interested in expanding our group.
Please join us at one of our meetings. If you have at least six months of sober/clean time, please consider becoming a member of our organization. We would love to have you.
Please contact us with any suggestions you may have for the website.
